🚨 Exploitative Job Alert: “$30/hr on C2C for a Full Stack Developer in 2025?” 🚩

🧵 Shared by a follower of Kumar Exclusive (KE) via email.

🧵 Let’s break this down:

🔹 Role: Full Stack Java Developer
🔹 Location: Fort Worth, TX (Partial Remote)
🔹 Duration: Jul 2025 – Jan 2026
🔹 Rate: $30/hr C2C (!)

❌ What’s Wrong Here?

  1. 💰 Exploitative Rate

    • $30/hr on C2C in 2025 is highly unethical and below market.

    • This is contractor pay before taxes & expenses. Realistic C2C rates for this stack: $70–120/hr.

  2. 📋 Unrealistic Requirements

    • 5+ years of Full Stack Dev + DevOps experience

    • Mastery in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, React, Docker, Azure, Kubernetes, etc.

    • Knowledge of CMS platforms like OpenText TeamSite, which is niche and senior-level.

    • Cloud infra + frontend + backend + CI/CD + UX + performance monitoring—all in one role?

  3. 📍 Onsite in Fort Worth, TX

    • Still demands physical presence with low pay, excluding remote talent pools.

  4. 👀 Red Flag Email Domain

  5. 🪙 No W2 Option

    • Pushing only C2C, a sign of vendor-driven exploitation, often targeting visa holders.

⚠️ Why It Matters

This is how talent abuse continues in the H-1B/C2C ecosystem.
Skilled developers are offered peanuts for high-end, senior roles, undermining the entire industry.

📢 If you’re in tech, do NOT normalize $30/hr for this stack. Call it out. Share it. Stand up.

🇺🇸 Important for Americans to Understand — How Desi Hiring Cartels Exploit the U.S. Tech Market

When a Desi (South Asian) hiring manager creates a job at a U.S. client site, here’s often what happens before you ever see the job publicly posted:

1️⃣ Caste or Commission First
They’ve already shared the job internally within caste-based WhatsApp or social media groups, often lining up their own caste members or friends/family from layer consultancies—well before outsiders even hear about it.

2️⃣ If That Fails, the Job Becomes “Public”
Only when no one from their preferred group fits or accepts the job, they release the job description (JD) to external recruiters or job sites like Dice. But even then, it’s not truly public…

3️⃣ Enter the Layers (LLCs/INCs)
Multiple Desi-owned staffing firms, often with minimal U.S. presence or questionable legitimacy, scrape the job posting and repost it. These so-called “vendors” are:

  • Connected to the hiring manager or

  • Inserted by prime vendors like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, etc., or

  • Run by friends, relatives, or caste affiliates of the original recruiter.

4️⃣ The Real Goal? Wage Theft
This entire chain exists to poach billable hourly pay from U.S. clients. Each “layer” takes a cut, inflating costs while cutting pay to the candidate—whether they’re U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, or on OPT, CPT, H4 EAD, L2 EAD, E3, etc.

5️⃣ And if the final candidate is on H-1B?
The abuse deepens. Wages often violate Department of Labor (DOL) standards, and USCIS rarely enforces compliance, allowing systemic wage fraud.

🧵 This is why I posted:

🚨 “$30/hr for a Full Stack Developer in 2025?” — shared by a KE follower.

  • Senior-level work.

  • Niche stack.

  • Onsite demands.

  • C2C only, no W2.

  • Exploitative pay.
Yet dozens of Desi layers were trying to fill it—for pennies on the dollar.

💥 This is not about race or nationality. It’s about unethical hiring practices that are:

  • Anti-American

  • Anti-immigrant

  • Anti-meritocracy

📣 If you’re in tech, this matters to you.
Speak up. Share it. Don’t normalize wage abuse.

🚨 Desi Vendor Scam Alert 🚨

Just pulled my Equifax report and found attempts to open credit cards in my name.

Like many job seekers, I used to share my driver’s license, visa copies, and even passport numbers with Desi vendors for job submissions. That’s when things went wrong.

⚠️ Here’s how the scam works:

  • Some banks issue credit cards without requiring your SSN.

  • Scammers only need:

    • Full name

    • Visa copy

    • Driver’s license

    • Passport number

    • I-94 info (can be pulled with the above documents)

Once they have this data, they can apply for credit cards or commit identity theft in your name.

My Advice:

  • Share documents only with verified companies.

  • Never send sensitive info over email or LinkedIn to random vendors.

  • If you’re job hunting, stay alert. Don’t let desperation cost you your identity.

🔎 Have any of you faced similar scams? Let’s share and protect each other.

Dear Americans: Why You’re Losing IT Jobs — The Dark Side of Fake Resumes, Caste Networks, and Proxy Scam

Dear Americans,

If you’ve lost your job — or can’t seem to land one in IT — here’s the harsh reality:

Fake Resumes: Some individuals arrive in the U.S. and instantly claim 10 years of IT experience on paper. To support these lies, they forge documents like driver’s licenses, H-1B approvals, Green Cards, or U.S. citizenship papers. International media told me in 2014-15 that recruiters even sell such forged documents for $15–$25 each.

Proxy Interviews & Projects: Many Indians, both in the U.S. and India, conduct proxy interviews — pretending to be the job candidate during Skype, Teams, or video interviews. They lip-sync answers while the real candidate stays silent. Once hired, these same people perform remote proxy work by installing screen-sharing software on clients’ laptops.

Proxy interviews cost around $2,000 (one-time fee).
Proxy project support runs $2,000 per month.

Caste-Based Hiring: Caste networks operate as exclusive clubs, favoring people from the same caste. These groups also engage in matching grants scams across the U.S., misusing nonprofit status for financial gain.

Indian Outsourcing Companies: Many well-known firms violate USCIS, Department of Labor, or IRS rules by inserting 2–3 illegal middle layers between clients and workers.

Some hiring managers own these hidden layer companies.
Under-the-table cash deals happen frequently, sometimes even involving casting couch scenarios.

I’ve learned two things from investigating this for years: 1. Crime rarely ends. 2. Justice often remains a distant dream.
A friend once told me, “In this world, crime always wins.”
