 Tanul Thakur:

“Kumar Exclusive, has been painstakingly talking about the H1-B violations, and how ‘desi’ consulting companies have been abusing the American immigration laws for decades. I hope enough people are watching this channel and waking up to the fact that most Indians’ lives in America are far from rosy, and how desperation and greed can lead them into a rabbit hole (the murky world of Indian Incs, Vendors, Prime Vendors, and their various ‘layers’), which offers no respite or hope. It’s all the more heartening to know that an Indian is talking about ethics, morality, and doing the right thing, because — and there’s no other way to put it — Indians aren’t the most moral lot. People can of course point towards the social and economic realities as the reasons for our dishonesty, but here’s the thing: What’s wrong is wrong. Which is why it’s so heartening to see an Indian not mince words and talk about this underground industry, which has taken an economic and mental toll on tens of thousands of Indians, particularly young graduates, who can do better in life than fake resumes, stage interviews, dupe employers. “

KE YouTube channel, in particular, was a great source of help for many investigative journalists to investigate further or write books on H1-B topics. This is how KE is helpful to many Indians victims in the USA/India and several Dream America aspirants across the globe. -KE.

In the name of “pursuing the American dream,” many Indians in the USA with Green Cards and U.S. citizenship are exploiting fellow Indians both in the U.S. and in India. Be cautious and avoid falling into their traps. Additionally, some non-Indian attorneys are also involved in these scams.

Public Reaction

The public’s response to Kumar’s work is mixed:

✅ Some praise his honesty and educational efforts.
❌ Others criticize him as ungrateful or accuse him of stereotyping Indians, pointing out that he benefited from the same H-1B system he now critiques.

Kumar’s platform also solicits donations to support his investigative reporting, as seen in posts from early 2025.

Breaking Down Diaspora Discussions: Religion, Caste, and Immigration In my lifetime, whoever Indians that I come across or talked to, he/she brought these topics across the table whatever the meeting agenda is. 1 Hindu,Muslim & Christians topic 2 Next is Caste – upper or lower 3 If it’s abroad- immigration status added. 🚨 Been sayin’ it for years… but this message from a LinkedIn follower (2011–2015) hit different — he saw Desi bodyshops, mostly Telugu-run, straight up molesting the U.S. IT market way before 2011. That’s 30+ years of rigging, faking, gatekeeping. The system ain’t broken — it’s hijacked. #H1BTruth #CasteInTech #KumarExclusive

One of my LinkedIn followers dropped this message back in 2011–2015, calling out how Desi bodyshops — especially Telugu-run ones — wrecked the U.S. IT job market. And get this — he noticed the mess started way before 2011. So yeah, we’re talkin’ about nearly 30 years of non-stop damage to the American IT scene. It’s been spoiled to the core

Thai is what Indians who arrived to the USA did to Indians in India.
I too thought the same and hence I cleared those doubts to people.

SOLUTION:

🔥 PERM → I-140 → Silence: How the Green Card Process Traps H-1B Workers
Love or Leverage? How the Green Card Process Conditions H-1B Loyalty

The Green Card process often conditions H-1B workers to show unconditional loyalty (LOVE OR LUST) to their petitioners.

Once the I-140 stage begins — the second step of the employment-based Green Card process after PERM, where the employer must certify that qualified U.S. workers are unavailable — the worker often feels trapped. (The third stage is I-485 or EAD.)

Many are afraid to speak up, leave abusive roles, or even travel, because their legal future is largely controlled by employers and attorneys.

This vulnerability is one of the reasons the system is frequently exploited — often at the cost of displacing or replacing American workers and not hiring qualified American graduates, all for marginal cost savings that benefit corporations. (From 1990 to 2026 PLUS)

Unless the H-1B visa is de-linked from the H-1B petitioner—and the Green Card process is de-linked from employer control—the exploitation of H-1B workers will not stop.

As long as employers hold control over both jobs and immigration status, abuse will continue, American workers will be displaced, and the system will keep rewarding vulnerability over merit.

This process becomes a slaughterhouse for American workers — leaving Americans jobless and homeless, and turning America into a country without Americans
American kids have no FUTURE in America. They have to migrate elsewhere.

📢 Responsibility Matters: My H-1B Experience Explains Why Public Figures Sometimes Withdraw Statements

Disclaimer:
This post is not intended to insult, target, or defame any individual, organization, political party, community, or profession. It is based on my personal experience handling public allegations, legal threats, and whistleblower communications over many years. Readers should verify facts independently and form their own conclusions.

To explain Prof. K. Nageshwar’s situation in H-1B language:

For international readers and Americans: Prof. K. Nageshwar is a prominent Telugu academic, political commentator, and YouTube creator with over 1 million subscribers. For many Telugu-speaking viewers, he has long been regarded as an independent voice discussing Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Indian, and global affairs outside traditional media narratives. His recent remarks on senior Andhra Pradesh political leaders have become the subject of significant public debate and controversy.

1. I receive emails almost every day from people claiming to be victims of H-1B consulting abuses.

2. Some provide documents and evidence. Others do not, but still request that I write about their experiences publicly.

3. When I decide to publish something, I do so based on my own judgment, fully aware of the possible consequences.

4. Over the years, I have received calls from politicians and influential individuals because some consulting networks may be influenced by regional, social, business, or political relationships.

5. If I refuse to comply with demands or requests, I may receive legal notices.

6. These are commonly called “cease and desist” letters, and responding to them can cost significant time and money.

7. Some of the organizations involved employ or work with hundreds or even thousands of individuals, including H-1B workers, H-4 EAD holders, F-1 OPT participants, and other professionals. Many also have access to legal resources far beyond those of an individual content creator.

8. Their legal notices often challenge the accuracy of claims and threaten court action.

9. I rarely reveal confidential sources because doing so could expose whistleblowers to retaliation.

10. Legal defense is expensive. That is one reason I have occasionally sought support from followers through crowdfunding efforts when facing potential legal battles.

11. In some cases, I have removed or modified content after receiving legal complaints, even when I believed the underlying issues deserved public discussion. Defending a case across jurisdictions can be financially impossible for an individual.

12. The lesson is simple: when we write or speak publicly, we must take responsibility for our words. If a statement creates controversy or unintended consequences, sometimes the best course of action is to clarify, apologize if necessary, and move forward while respecting the law.

I am sharing this perspective with my followers to explain how public communication works in practice — not to insult or attack anyone.

Note for international readers and Americans:

This post is not about whether Prof. K. Nageshwar was right or wrong. It is about a broader reality faced by journalists, commentators, YouTubers, whistleblowers, academics, and content creators around the world. When discussing controversial subjects involving powerful individuals, institutions, businesses, or political interests, they may face legal, financial, political, professional, and reputational pressures. My intention is simply to share my own experience and perspective on the responsibilities and challenges that often accompany public commentary.

Healthy debate is essential in any democracy, but so is accountability for what we publish, share, and say in public.

I’m thrilled to share that a book based on my life and my H-1B fight — Wild Wild East — can now be ordered from Amazon. It traces my journey from the late ’90s to 2025, covering my personal and professional experiences in great detail: how I struggled to come to America, how I was scammed in one project after the other (something many H-1B workers go through), how I learnt to fight against the system, how I started my YouTube channel, and how I built a beautiful community with you all.

Wild Wild East is also a work of data-driven investigative journalism, which exposes the H-1B scam from all angles, showing the complicity of Big Tech giants, outsourcing companies, desi consultancies, visa mills — and much more. If my YouTube channel has meant anything to you over the years, then please consider placing an order on Amazon from this link: https://amzn.in/d/08LC5HRF. Right now, you can only do so if you’re in India. But from April 13 onwards, even people outside India will be able to buy the book (both the hard copy and the e-book). From April 13, it’ll also be available in all the major bookstores in India.

I’m very much looking forward to your views on the book.
