I’ve used this website before to determine prevailing wages for my area when reporting local bodyshops to USCIS. 

Some of them are paying way below prevailing wages, around $50k for software engineers which is what I made when I graduated from school and came here 30 years ago. 

They are paying 1990 wages in the year 2020.
